What’s New

Each year, CHCANYS (Community Health Centers Association of New York State) honors one provider who has gone above and beyond to ensure access to high quality, affordable primary and preventive care for all.  The Dr. Jack Geiger Award was established to recognize a licensed provider in honor of Dr. Jack Geiger, who devoted his life's work to the problems of health, poverty, and human rights.  Dr. Geiger was one of the founders of Federally Qualified Health Centers. 

This year, CHCANYS has selected Dr. Rahner as the Dr. Geiger Award Honoree!

In October 2025, Family Health Network will welcome Dr. Gina Correll to the experienced team of FHN Providers!  Dr. Gina Correll is a Family Practice Physician who has also been trained in Obstetrical care.  Dr. Correll will be able to see women for prenatal care and deliver babies at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

Dr. Correll is currently in the last year of her residency program at St. Joseph’s Health.  Dr. Correll is from the Central New York area, and is excited to be able to practice in the area where she grew up! 

We look forward to Dr. Correll’s arrival and FHN’s ability to expand care for the patients in the communities we serve!
